Albert Condarco

Senior Architect

AIA. LEED AP, NOMA

Albert Condarco believes that architecture should make the world a better place:  it should always serve the needs of the client by balancing function, aesthetics, and cost. Good design should be for everyone. He takes joy in contributing to each project by translating the clients’ ideas and dreams into solutions that embody their vision and improve their quality of life.

Albert brings this thinking to all phases of the project. He achieves this through thorough setting expectations for the level and quality of work, coordination with members of the consultant and architectural teams, and overseeing the production of deliverables.

As a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture in (2006), he has worked on a variety of projects, with a focus on higher education. His portfolio includes projects for Alamo Colleges, Baylor University, The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, The University of Texas at Dallas, and Trinity University. Albert interned at Lake Flato Architects (2007) and worked at Overland Partners for fifteen years (2007-2022). Albert joined Studio Plearn in 2022.

Albert is a lifelong musician. He plays the French Horn and is the founding member of the Pride of San Antonio Showband. He is also a board member of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) of Central Texas. There he has helped to organize Project Pipeline, a summer camp to help introduce children to the field of Architecture. Albert also gives his time as an architect mentor with UTSA’s Kids Initiating Design Solutions (KIDS) Elementary Architecture Program, an architecture-based program offered to 3rd and 5th grade students where participants learn art and design concepts by way of exploring the built world.
