Michelle Stedman was the Team Leader and Project Manager with Overland Partners Architects for the new Multipurpose Academic Center that houses 23,000 square feet of classroom space including ten 45-seat classrooms, six 30-seat classrooms, four Physics Teaching labs, a Math Computer Teaching lab and a divisible multi-use room that can be used as classrooms or an event space. There is a central space for students to gather in the interior of the building with connections to exterior gathering space as well as ten individual student meeting rooms for informal student gathering and collaboration. The building has 6,000 square feet of office space including 19 faculty offices and the Student Academic Success. Geared at helping students enter and be successful in college, the Student Academic Success is easily accessible from the public gathering spaces.
