THE UTRGV EDINBURG INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEERING & ACADEMIC BUILDING

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley plans to construct a new Interdisciplinary Engineering & Academic Studies Building on the UTRGV Edinburg Campus.  The project will be sited in the Core Campus along the east side of the Quad near the University Library and Student Union.  

 The project will house 21,000 square feet of classroom space including eight 60-seat classrooms, six engineering teaching labs, two computer labs, and a seminar room for doctoral students.  There will be eight student meeting rooms distributed on the first two floors of the building for informal student gathering and collaboration. The building will also have an Academic Department with reception areas, faculty offices, workrooms and conference rooms.

Albert Condarco served as the Project Architect for this project while employed with Overland Partners Architects.
